I would use it for a reason somewhat similar to Light, to get rid of anybody who makes the world a bad place

I'd use one on anyone who pissed me off. And after a while I'd use it to make people think i'm god

Not really, If I had a deathnote I wouldn't use it much, the world doesn't need the deathnote, It is exactly as Near said "Deathnote is the worst killing device in history",think about it, the motives might be right but eventually your gonna want to just use it because you can, the power of it, look what it did to Light, also it has been said by ryuk that whoever uses the deathntoe will suffer an enourmus amount of pain, as well as whoever uses the deathnote will neither go to heaven or hell. Sorry if it sounds like I'm saying "Whoever posses the deathnote or even considers having a real one is a psychotic freak", that's not what I'm saying, I'm just saying that if the deathnoet did exist, war possibly would stop (if the user was killing criminals) but they are people too, eventually the definition of beingm a criminal would mean just yelling at someone.

I would only use it to kill a really psycotic criminal/dictator such as Hitler.

trust me killing off a dictator would not work out well, and if you use it like that you could cause anarchy in the world. While hitler was evil in some ways his actions rebuilt germany and saved it from the verge of anarchy, and in later years it lead to one of the countries he destroyed to being a very powerful army and one of our allies. And if you even used it once you would get addicted to it.
