Have you had any experience hosting games? If so, how long have you been hosting for?Well, I have hosted mainly Icon games, like Icon Ultima and Chao Chatterz but I've also Hosted Dragon Ball Finale too, I josted a naruto game back i nthe day and a Pokemon game, I've been a host for about 2 years now, and my servers are pretty lagless as long as I host one or two servers at a time.(Which, if I get the job htis will probably me my only game I will host.)

2.I've noticed some of the servers have massive lag when you walk, And I am pretty much lag free.
3.I like to resolve problems between players by hearing both sides of the story and not just one, no matter if one be someone I hate or one be someone that is a good friend, becaus people loke to use those to bend the hoss to their will
4.I HATE have to wait countles shours to get to play a game I want to play and then someone just ruins it.

My hosting hours are as follows

Mon-Thurs:When I wake up-2pm, 6pm-9pm
Friday: WHen I wake up-2pm, 6pm-10/11pm
Saturday: Most of the day.
Sunday:When I wake up-9pm

Well it's ultimately K's choice on the matter , but let me throw in some friendly advice.

1) You joined let's see.2 days ago? And you think that from your lack of experience you'll get a hosting spot. I’m just asking.

2)The quotes are from people FROM DNO? I've never heard of a single one and I've been hosting along time I know alot of people.

3)This is more of a personal thing but in references to HATING WHEN THE SERVER ISN'T UP ALL THE TIME..I do have a life that I also enjoy. I’m sorry that us hosts have friends, relationships, family etc and that we cant host when YOU want us to.

4)When talking about quotes...you need 3 and I see 1 in the DNO category. PLEASE read directions D:

I have a fair amount of experience hosting games. The games being Naruto: Return of the Quilets, Wargames, Castle, Mafia, and Mitadake High, the most common of the games that I host. Unfortunately, due to flame messages on two of the games[almost every time I host the two games, Castle and Naruto: Return of the Quilets]and almost constant rulebreaking[seriously, if it's a rule, it's shattered into millions of pieces on the ground being dusted up into a hellstorm of idiocy upon the rulebreakers creation]on the SAME two games, I have stopped hosting the two. Mafia, Mitadake High and Wargames I am still hosting for now, and I will probably host them a bit more lately, but if I'm selected as a DNO2 host, I may slow down with them. The amount of time I've been hosting games? Hm...I'd say several months or so. Not ALOT of time, but I've grown knowledgable towards hosting the games. Well, I suppose that's really all I can say, other than that I had alot of fun hosting the games listed and I was really patient with the two I stopped hosting for a decently long time, so I find myself patient enough toward players. I suppose that's really all I can say for this section, so I'll leave it at that.

You would probably choose roles pretty fairly, and you'd deal with behavior problems pretty well.

This may be a hard part for me. I tend not to get many people in some servers, and I have been kind've stupid upon not hosting lately. I WILL try to host alot of games today and over the next while, but for now, nothing. (0/3)




Is there any reason you'd like to host?
I would love to host DNO2 because I have always been good hosting other games, and I believe I have enough experience to host DNO2. I have fixed my disconnecting problem, which probably would have killed any chance[if I have one]to actually be a DNO2 host. I believe I have been playing DNO enough to be able to fully comprehend what to do, how to approach certain situations, how to deal with them fairly, and how to handle newer players. Unlike the other games, I highly doubt I will ever stop hosting DNO2 indefinately if selected unless asked to, because I not only just love being on DNO/DNO2, but I also know most of the players. I understand how to fairly distribute roles if it's needed, or simply to distribute them randomly if wanted or told to. Lastly, but not the last reason, I'm on Byond at least 5-7 days a week unless noted otherwise. Well, I have alot of other reasons I'd like to host DNO2, but I'll simply leave it up to K to decide[rather, I have to. o.o]

I've Hosted plenty of games before, and below are just a little taste of the few that I enjoy hosting, the others are favors and out of courtesy. I've been hosting ever since I've joined BYOND and learned how to port forward, and for the added info, I joined BYOND, I believe in late December 2008, if not early January, 2009.

- I've hosted Mitadake High approximately seven days, twenty four hours, whilst online and active monitoring everything and dealing with problems using the only tool I have, Dream Daemon.
- Hogwarts: A History, a game I've been playing for almost six months now, I began to host it but the source itself had a small problem causing the game to crash down every few hours. I was hired on the game as a Prefect (Enforcer), but soon after there was a player wipe, and staff were involved in being rechosen.
- Bleach Serenity Blade was a game that a friend of mine created and asked me to host it. Although it never became popular it was still hosted everyday, twenty four hours a day, constant population usually between five and ten. The creators key is Thampboy38 if asked for proof.
- NLH/Naruto: Shinobi Outcastz, also a game created by Thampboy38, at the moment it's being developed and still tested, so it isn't hosted much, only at times when asked to test something new.
- Medieval is a game that's not hosted much due to it's inpopularity, but it was created by one of the developers from Hogwarts: A History, username Orion, key, Sealed Kyuubi.
- Incursion is a game based on the Classical board game, "Risk", and I host it once in a while when my friends are up to get their butts whooped.

Is there any reason you'd like to host?
As I've explained to K many times, I just want to do it for the best of the server. I understand K can't host all of the time, and that the server needs constant attention, I can give most of that, and at the same time K's internet connection might get a rest.
Since I usually get home early from school, throw my keys on the table, and usually do my homework next day at school anyways, I'm available for hosting immediately after walking through the front door. I'd also guess that I would like to also monitor the game whenever it's up, GM, and or Host wise.
Another reason as to why I'd like to host is mainly because I can play the game on my time, which in my opinion is suitable for everyone else. (Sorry if you don't live in Eastern. ) Whilst I'm on the game I'll be sure to handle any problems or issues that appear on OOC, or even in IC, but of course I'll ask to be omited once I deal with the problem. As I'm sure a lot of people would want DNO to be online a lot of the times, and that roles are sometimes given to them for a chance than others, and I'll try to do the best in my ability to find those Roleplayers who won't ruin the game with, for say, an M role (GABE. <3)

This may be really, really off topic but, that round, that I know you're referring to, I wasn't M, I'm just good at leading mobs of people at L, so don't use me as a example of a bad M. I really, really felt I needed to point this out...

I joined BYOND around... April-May of 2007 and I've hosted since around September of the same year. So I have around... 2 years of experience hosting.

Well, when we played ****, the lag was, well, there wasn't any. You did go take a shower though, but I continued to play myself, (Get pwned), and the game ran smoothly as ever.
<--(5:41 pm) Palletox: Pretty lagless, I've never really seen lag when I played on any of your servers. You usually let the server up for a long time, which is good, and for most of the part you're on the server watching. I think you'd make a great host.

Is there any reason you'd like to host? I hoped of helping any way possible so I guess hosting would be one way. Also as the quotes mentioned above, my computer can handle long periods of time running the program and lagless so I guess that is a plus. So yea I'm a dedicated player and as a host I would be fair towards those who play. Also as I am on the computer most of the time the server can be up with rarely any interruptions. And finally...I just like the game alot and think I could do a good job as host.

I first sarted logging on to Deathnote on my birthday in december of 2008, but i usally logged out shortly after i did not recieve a roll. I began to stay around through whole rounds in may of 2009.

well... I don't now about them seeing me as a host, but after my first full round ever playing DNO i ruined a round with a character called zero, but over months of playing, I was viewed as somewhat of a better player infront of Gabe, Z, and i think Aki if they remember me after i helped with a noob that continued to load after death.

No one has ever seen me host, but i have friends in DMO (duel monsters online, i play when DNO is off line) that can tell you about my personality if tha helps. Their byond keys are Mankiller56, MD42143, and Dynoflame.
Is there any reason you'd like to host?
I want to be a host because i am on byond every day and i know that many people are wanting DNO to be online more often and so do I. So i thought that instead of having to wait fo DNO to go online, i could host it myself sence i use the comuter so often for homework and facebook. (trying to be humorous) I realy want to be host for my birthday (December 18) or for christmas.

Ummm well, your app is really, really iffy, and the fact that you gravedug REALLY doesn't help it.
