What if. This story is all about what if.

What if M and N had never been in Wammy's house? What if there was no predetermined successor to L? What if Ryuzaki knew he was about to die, and told Roger? What if there was only a month of school left? What if Roger needed to find the right person to succeed L, and fast? What if.

You're a student at Wammy's House. It's a normal day for you, but little do you know, Roger has something in store for the whole institution. He didn't tell a soul, though- but somehow a few kids found out, and now it's a competition to be the best.

Roleplay;

You're a student at the Wammy's House. You have a real name, a letter, and a nickname- the teachers address you as your letter, which is considered professional, and friends- assuming you have any- a nickname. Not even you truly know your own name, it's kept locked up in the files. There's about a month left of school, and things are like a real school. There's class, lunch, and hanging out. The thing is, you're confined to the Wammy's House- not only that, but things have been getting pretty competitive recently. Prove you can succeed L, and lets see what happens!

You cannot "Godmod" in any way. You can't make your character superior, or have a backstory like "Was the number one awesome genius in the other place, and is now next in line for L". After everyone is in, I'll decide the current standings for students grade wise, based on personality and history.

Don't influence anybody elses actions, don't kill anyone, etc. Remember, this isn't a roleplay like Midnight Mansion!

Full Name: Xiar Zu Holen Zeruin

Nickname: Xion (XI rhymes with TIE, ON as in the preposition.)

Age: 17

Physical Description: Standing at five-foot eleven, Xiar has sharp, blue eyes. His black hair is short-cropped and spiked slightly. He typically stands in an apathetic fashion unless something nearby directly affects his life.

Personality: Xiar is quiet, rarely speaking unless spoken to. He will be friendly and gladly make friends but will almost never make the first approach. His bored, tired-looking face belies the fact that he is ever-thinking about every little detail in his surroundings, processing it carefully and considering how to turn it to his advantage.

Biography: Xiar was orphaned as a child when his parents died in a freak accident, the details of which have since been classified in a police filing cabinet: Even Xiar does not know the full story. He was taken in by Wammy House after displaying an unusually high level of intelligence for a child his age and was enrolled in their school, where he still lives today--working studiously towards his goal of succeeding the great detective L.

Physical Description: Kenji is five foot ten. He has emerald like green eyes. He has brown wavy hair that's a bit spiky, sticking out in a few directions. He doesn't really care what everyone else is wearing. On hot days he wears a red short sleeve shirt, blue shorts, and white laced shoes. On cold days, he wears a long sleeve collard shirt with jeans and white laced shoes.

Personality: Kenji is a bit quiet and shy, though he's not afraid to speak up or to start a conversation with someone else. He's also a bit lazy at times, and be tired. He's a fast thinker, not afraid to share his ideas. He's usually very kind to others, unless something ticks him off badly or something makes him very depressed.

Biography: Kenji was a normal child. He enjoyed to play video games, watch T.V, hang out with friends, and play basketball. One tragic day though, his parents never came back from work. He never exactly knew what happened to them, so he kept living his life, not as open to others and more. He kept things bundled up until the Wammy House kindly took him in. He was working his hardest to try to do the best, since he thinks if he does great thinks that his parents might come back. He tried his hardest with his intelligence, thinking if he succeeds the great detective L better things could happen in his life.

Physical Description: Mitsuru is fairly short, only 5'5" tall, and is also quite light at 108lbs, and is thus slightly underweight. She has shoulder-length, messy ginger hair that covers her hazel coloured eyes most of the time. She generally dresses in black, usually a t-shirt, jeans, trainers and a light jacket, whatever the weather.

Personality: Although fairly lazy, Mitsuru is surprisingly quick-witted, and indeed witty. She almost always has something to say about everything, however irrelevant or unhelpful it is. She tends to see the worst in everybody when she first meets them, and always points it out; unsurprisingly, she finds it difficult to make new friends. Despite her general state of lethargy, those few things she's passionate about she will put 100% into, even when she doesn't need to.

Biography: Mitsuru knows little about her past, her earliest memory being of her 9th birthday at Wammy's House. In fact, she was found by one of Roger's employees, abandoned in the countryside near the orphanage, only 1 year and 5 months old at the time, and was soon accepted into the house, where she still lives to this day, working with no real goal, but mildly interested in the prospect of succeeding L.

Pysical Description: Enzeru is about 6 feet tall (give or take a few quarter inches) and is somewhat tall for his age, he has messy white hair and pale grey eyes. He usually wares a long sleeved black shirt and baggy pants. On warmer days, he wares the same thing, only a short sleave skull shirt and baggy shorts.

Personality: Enzeru is sometimes quiet and keeps to himself when he has nothing to do. When he's with his friends, he is like any other 16 year old. He is a smart person, but he can make rash choices. He prefers cats over dogs, but he loves any animal all the same. When he starts to think, he starts to cry for no reason at all... not like full blown sobs, just tears tend to accumulate. He tends to give people a fake smile whenever he tries to be polite, but it's so polite, everyone should be able to tell that it's fake. He also gets really lazy whenever nothing happens for a while. He also has random flashes of his past, but it's so rare, it's hardly a problem...

Biography: Enzeru has been living at Wammy's nearly all of his life, since he was about 5. The only thing he remembers of his past life is that he had an older sister, and that it was his sister who killed his parents in the first place, and it has scarred him for his entire life. He's lived his life in Wammy's like everyone else, but his goal is to succeed L before anyone else does so he can find his sister.

Description: Kira stands at about 5'4", weighs about 90 lbs, and
has green eyes. She has dirty blonde ~ light brown hair that goes down
to the middle of her back. She usually wears jeans, flip-flops, a black
short sleeved shirt, and always wears dark gloves.
Personality:
Kira usually has a lot to say, but doesn't like to say it to a stranger
or someone who doesn't know her well. To strangers or other students
who may not know her well, she seems a very quiet person. This is
because she doesn't keep many people close, and is more into her work.
Biography: Kira doesn't know much of her parents, just that she lived with her brother who was ten years older than her, until his time of death, which Kira remembers but doesn't like to talk about. Then without a home, she found herself in a nearby orphanage looking for a home, but was soon transferred to Wammy's House when she was eight.

Physical Description:Amaterasu stands at 5 foot 4 and weighs about 95 lbs. She has long fiery red hair and bright emerald green eyes. She wears red blouses and black skirts with fishnet leggings and combat boots. She wears heavy black makeup and black nail polish. Her favorite accessory is her black bow she wears on the left side of her head.

Personality:Although she seems short skinny and mysterious she can have a flying temper. She’s normally a nice girl but if you make fun of her, threaten her or a friend she'll go off on you. She hardly ever smiles and always has a distant look in her eyes

Biography: Her parents died in a car crash when she was just a toddler too young to understand. She entered a small orphans house unsure and grew up away from everyone afraid of them. When she turned 5 she was transferred to Wammy's and has lived there making the best of life as she can.[/size][/size][/size][/size]

Personality: Gabriel is a silent person, likes to have a challenge but is lazy. Gabriel will only care about the task at hand yet decides to goof off. Gabriel Prefers dogs as a pet and is more of an inside person.

Biography: Gabriel was a normal kid other then being a curious child , he was always interested in computers, he was orphaned at seven years old when he left his house to play outside and he came back to find it in flames, his parents were inside, he was in two different orphanages which did not want to keep him because they disliked him being an inside person which never spoke, he was soon taken in by Wammy's and has been living there ever since.

Physical Description: Takashi stands at about 5'7 and is about 120lbs.He has long dirty blonde messy hair and blue eyes.Takashi always wears a long sleeved black shirt and light blue jeans with rips at the knees.

Personality: Takashi is a normally laid back kinda guy.He's always calm unless something really bad happens(like a guys head blown off sorta thing).Takashi is really easy to be friends with but hard to gain his trust,which in terms if you betray him he becomes very vengeful.Takashi normally doesn't hold grudges for long.

Biography:Takashi has lived in Wammy house since he was a newborn his parents thought he was a mistake but hated the thought of an abortion.He has lived there ever since then.He vows he will find his parents one day but until then he has decided to reside in the place he now calls home

Physical Description: Ganku is 5 feet 11, with broad shoulders and short brown hair. His eyes are dark brown. He always wears his father's old trenchcoat even though it is too big for him.

Personality: Ganku doesn't have a problem speaking his mind. He always tries to stay in a good mood, even in the worst situations. He also tries to cheer other people up if he can but knows when he's not wanted. He does have anger issues if his temper gets out of control, which came from his fatehr's beatings. which is why he usually tries to stay happy. He also can be lazy and ignorant which leads people to think he's dumb, which is untrue but he lets them pretend that since it makes it easier on him.

Biography: Ganku was the Son of a Military pilot, his childhood was strict. His Mother died in when he was 2 and his father ocasionally took out his frusturations on beating him. His father died when he was 10, so ganku wandered untill he stumbled to wammy's house. Orignally they turned him away because of his low iq scores, so he stood out there for days without moving, untill some one finally came out and let him in. He's been there since.

on the midle of her back with some blonde paintings. She usually wears withe pants, a black shirt, she likes to wear some black gloves, a golden ring, some black sneakers and some black sunglasses.

Personality:
Veronica is usually shy, she can't even answer to a stranger thinking he is a big criminal. She never talks to those she doesn't know, she is a very quiet person. She just talks to nice people and to people with a pure heart.
She always panics when there are to much people around her and she keeps her sympati on her self, in other words, Veronica has only one thing to do, study and use her logic to have a good future. But when someone knows Veronica in a good way she can tell her secrets and be the nicest person on the world. But Veronica can be a cool person when she trust on somebody.

Biography: Veronica used to live with her parents but she hated her father. Her father used to hit her mother with objects or even punch her like a slave, and one day her father killed her mother. So Veronica somehow transfered all her parents money to a fake account she had made by another adult who died. Veronica always had a big hatred for her father and she hide herself on a trunk who moved to another country. Veronica has a capacity to learn languishes on a fast way so she has no problem on speaking them. Now she lives alone and she resides in a place she calls " Home " wich the truth name is " The Wammy's house " . Some days after veronica found out that her father was dead and all his money was transfired to Veronica making a great number of money but unfortunly she couldn't use it because she didn't had the age for it. Physical Description: Peace's hight is 5'10 ,wieghs about 130 lbs, has green eyes, and has long Green (orochmaru from naruto like)hair. His fashon is mainly black and white rockstar-like clothing.

Personality: Peace is very social and when he gets to know the people who surrounds him, he becomes very out spoken and more like a class clown. He loves every sport and every school subject. He's averagely athletic and very inteligent. He seems to have no problem getting a girlfriend after getting to know a girl on a date or two. he occasionaly acts kind of gay just for the fun of getting a reply from others. His favorite food is pizza and watches just about every thing on t.v. He perticipates in every after school,or in this case after hours, activities that he can and loves to party.

Biography: Peace was orphaned as a child when his parents ( Rage and Harmony Kuruzaki)were murdered by Hong Kong criminals Armoni and Kelithial Shang. Through the legal system, He managed to relocate to America, and was placed in the Whammy's orphanarium, wich further location will remain confidential due to safty reasons,. Peace may or may not remamber exactly what happened at his home the night of his parents deaths, but he refuses to speak about the event. Peace has dreams of becoming a great detective someday, but for now he wants to live for the moment as if every day is his last day to live.

Physical Description: Standing at 6`1, weight being 120 lbs, and sporting cyan hair, which is strangely natural. It rarely is properly combed, usually jetting out in long spikes. Surprisingly enough, he is one of the only students wearing the school uniform, a suit and tie. He is also rather frail, and he avoids all attempts to improve his athletic ability.

Personality: Ito is a Strategist. He views all students in the Wammy House mearly as means to an end, and is extremely arrogant towards younger students. He usually keeps his thoughts to himself, wearing a mask of lies for others to see instead of his true self. He finds his letter proving he is L's successor, as a capital I looks similar to a lowercase L. He is a naturally born leader, and commonly skips classes as he already knows the information in it. This causes him to be one of the less popular people of the school, but most looked up to. When he cuts class, he usually plays chess or something completely eccentric, such as trying to make contact with aliens. His curiosity also knows no bounds, so he knows alot of useless information.

Biography: Ito was orphaned as a child, his parents had abandoned him on the Doorstep of the Wammy house. He resents them for this and never wants to see them. During his first 11 years, he spent his life cold and alone. He would be cared for by W, yes, but he mostly was given time to himself. If you look into the Wammy Freezer, you can find a large snowman wrapped in a scarf. He made this during one of the winters and had kept it since. He actually had met L, whom had been much older then him at the time. Since then, he has aspired to be like him.

Nickname: Mukogi

Age: 13

Physical Description: 5'11 with long blonde hair that comes down to his lips with one patch of black on the right side, the hair is pushed out of his eyes. He wears grey skin tight skinny jeans and a skin tight white V-Neck. On his wrists he has a piano key wristband on the right and a checkered wristband on the left. On his neck he wears a half checkered half normal black bandana. He wears half checkered half plaid penny loafers. He has snake bites as well.

Personality: Calm, Tired, Independent. He is somewhat annoyed by his classmates. He loves cheese sticks and ice cream; he always eats them when he is working. He is seemingly emotionless other than his strong crude sense of humor; he likes to play pranks on others while another is framed for it. He is constantly bored and sleeps with his eyes open and his feet touching the floor, if his feet are removed from the floor he wakes up and acts as if he wasn’t asleep. He is a very light sleeper. He has to tape his paper to his desk before writing because he writes with both hands on the pencil. He is not seen in public much because he likes to be alone. He rarely shows up to class and instead takes his classes from his room (I threw this part in because I’m a little late to sign up for this). He constantly gets in trouble for installing wire taps around the school and is updated on most of the current gossip (again I threw this part in so my character is caught up ).

Biography: He does not know much about himself, when he was three years old he came inside after playing with his toys to find both his parents, his sister, his brother, and his grandmother all dead laying in pools of their own blood, he looked up and saw a man licking a bloody knife and saying: "*laughter* Your lucky, I don’t feel like killing you mostly because I want someone to share the hell I live in, so you get to live *Maniacal laughter*”. He then ran away from home, after about two weeks he was seen by an old man who then took him in, that man brought him to Whammy’s house. Where he studies fighting techniques as side class after all main classes are over.

Sorry im so late, I didn't notice it till today . Let me know if theres anything I need to change or If I can even participate in it at all, I'm reading the entire thing right now to catch up and I’ve got a pretty good idea on how to make my appearance. I of course won’t make an appearance if it’s too late : P

It's a little late guys, and also, WTF? You CAN'T be 6'11" at 13, you can't even be 5'11" unless there's something really wrong with you. What's with everyone's obsession with being a giant?
