((Another short story~~ Inspired by Crow Zero I & II Great movies you guys should check them out.))
He stood straight up with his head held high while having a lit cigarette in his mouth. Slowly he lifted his right hand and grabbed the cigarette with two fingers as he took the cigarette out of his mouth, he puffed the smoke into the air, and looked up into the deep burning setting sky. He whispered in his deep voice, ".. My last cigarette." He took his left hand and loosened his red tie. After he loosened his tie he scratched his messy spiky black hair while paying no attention to the hundreds of men in front of him with bats and chains ready for confrontation. He then looked back at me and smirked with his left hand giving me a thumbs up. He put the cigarette back in his mouth and puffed it for one last time. Finally he dropped the cigarette from his two fingers to the muddy and wet ground. As he stepped on his cigarette he looked at the hundreds and said, "Yo' Smokins bad for ya'll' ya hear?" Than the "leader" of the group put his ear out and shouted, "What the fuck ya' say?" The man that stood before all those dangerous men just chuckled as he cracked his knuckles. The group of men took their first step running towards the single man with loud battle cries. Still no battle cry matched his as he ran towards all of them yelling, "Oooriahh!!" As he leaped into the air with his hands in his pocket, he dropped kicked the man that talked back earlier straight in the face. He was the only one wearing a black suit, so he was engulfed in the white jacket gangsters.
The fight was over before you know it. The last man standing was him. He fell to his knees with a knife in his chest and looked back at him saying, "Go home.. Kid.." Soon after he fell to the ground.
I did not know why he stood up for me. I did not know who he was or what he does. I didn't even know his name, but.. I owed my life to him. He sacrificed his well being, so that I can see another day in my life.
My name is Hiro it's my turn to protect someone.. It's my turn to be a hero. I won't fall, I won't cry, I won't run, but i'll laugh with my head held high looking at the setting sun. I see the men smoking and say, "You know.. Smokings pretty bad for you."
After this fight I will go on with my life knowing that I can be a hero in many ways
