The school, the playground, the small little store, the huge cherryblossom tree, and then our houses; It's the same way we always, Ayano and I. Everyday after school we take the same path back to our house we would walk on opposite ends of the road. She would always have her headphones right on her deep red hair. Her hair was short and curled at the end in a cute way. She always popped her gum while listening, and I would always pretend to read my book. It would always be silent everytime we walk, but not this time.. This time im going to see her and im going to talk to her! But first I have to put my round glasses in my pocket.
**Bell Rings**
Alright I can do it..! I grab my belongings and head out the door, and as usual I see her listening to her earphones with gum in her mouth. I take small steps towards, but that's when I saw her friends meet up with her. Maybe another time.. She's busy. I found myself smiling when she was talking and laughing with her friends. I don't know why.. I guess when she's happy I am too? Almost at the store this is where her friends part ways all the time. I nod my head and raise my fist with a grin on my face, now is the time! ...

I'm to scared.
We are already past the store. Come on.. Why am I so nervous? All I have to do is say hi! Right after we pass this cherry blossom tree we part ways I can't let that happen.

One more step and we're past it. Right as she took her last step the cherry blossom stopped in midair, her foot stopped in mid-air. Everything stopped like time stopped. That's when I took a breath and took my first step off the sidewalk to cross the road. Once I got to the other side I said, "Hi" Everything went into play again. She took off her headphones and with a smile said, "Hi what happened to your glasses? I liked them" My heart pounded after she said that and I said, "Right here" I put my glasses back on and asked, "Do you want to go back to the store to get some icecream?" Where did this confidence come from? She seemed happy and said, "Sure." From then on we would always walk to the store together and walk past the cherry blossom together. I enjoyed every second we had together.
